We live in a space where little is known about those who does what napoleon wouldn’t do and yet they go unnoticed or unappreciated.

In Ghana there are several men and women working behind the scenes to make life a better place for the vulnerable in the society, whilst many had also used the opportunity to exploit the vulnerable.

Technology has greatly affected our daily lives both positive and negative, just this past decade we have seen several innovations from how we communicate, commerce, bank, work, keep data, transact financially or give donations.

So much have changed and as Africans we are yet to catch up but a few of the African youth are doing enormously great. Today in this article news.eBitcoinics.com wishes to recognize the work of one astute gentleman in Ghana who has employed the use of technology to change lives of many in his community. He has been in the forefront since 2014 working together with friends to help bring development to his part of the world.

PROFILE.

Born in a town call Nachem in the suburb of Gushegu District in the Northern region. He works as the Trusted Community - Champion (Country Director as known in traditional nonprofits organizations) of GiveDirect. In the African setting a senior of the siblings is also a defacto breadwinner of the family and he must work to take care of his siblings and the rest of family.

He formed the CENTER FOR LIBERTY AND ENTERPRENEURSHIP GHANA (CLE) to train the youth in his community and its environs on the importance of been an entrepreneur, he went from village to village trained a lot of youths and even the elderly on how they can sustain themselves. He organized training sessions and invites resource personnel with the expertise from all walks of life to train his fellows.

He then through his adventures found or heard about BLOCKCHAIN TECHNOLOGY and CRYPTOCURRENCY, and he been a change master decided to pay much attention to it.

News Team: What was your first impression when you discovered blockchain technology?

It was a pool of confusion and mistrust when I first heard about Blockchain Technology and Cryptocurrency. Just like many others, I perceived it as scam however, I decided to do my own checks. Going deeper into researching about Blockchain and Cryptocurrency I came to a realization that it wasn’t only a thing of the internet but an avenue for change and real world impact.

News Team: What was your reaction then after you found out it will be a tool to champion your cause?

What I cared most about was its likely impact on my work as an advocate for Entrepreneurship and individual liberty.

I took keen interest in how it could affect positively the people I was dealing with in my activities and society in general. The motivation began growing bigger when I realized that Cryptocurrency (Bitcoin) was actually geared towards granting individuals just like myself financial freedom & independence from central bodies.

He been a change master did not only start to participate in the Cryptocurrency space after this discovery but decided to educate others about it through organizing seminars and by exploring more into the Blockchain and Cryptocurrency industry discovered the Dash Budgetary System through which he sold his idea of championing Cryptocurrency promotion in Africa and got funded for a country tour discussion Blockchain technology and Cryptocurrency from region to region in Ghana through radio, television and conferences.

“I held events in Nigeria as well and got a number of guys engaged economically making a living today from joining me in promoting Cryptocurrency and my humble beginning have today got people participating in the Dash Treasury and getting funding for Cryptocurrency activities in over seven (7) African countries”.

News Team: Will you ever say discovering cryptocurrency has change your life?

I have not only gained personal financial freedom, I have helped many through my discovery of Cryptocurrency gain financial freedom, gainfully employed today through Dash & Smartcash not only in Ghana and Nigeria but some of these guys have also extended their activities to other African countries such as Kenya, Togo, Ivory Coast, Botswana etc.

As a lead who found himself successful through the motivation he got from the success of these guys who got into the space through him, He decided to explore and do more but this time in community support.

News Team: We know cryptocurrency and the blockchain ecosystem is an evolving technology, what are you up to now considering the fact that you wish to explore the community support projects. What’s new on your plate?

I bought into an idea of Universal Basic Income as knowledge of it was shared to me by a friend and mentor I met through the Blockchain and Cryptocurrency space mid-2017, we did a lot of research around UBI and started to develop a better, easier and transparent way to not only to administer UBI but for all forms of nonprofit activities as nonprofits fight to reduce administrative expenses.
We did this by leveraging on the Blockchain technology and creating paywalls that allow for direct donations of crypto tokens through our paywalls to persons in need. We were able to get philanthropists in the Cryptocurrency space to support our dream of ending global extreme poverty through direct giving and officially started the GiveDirect project in October 2017 when we signed up 34 households from northern region who received monthly basic income direct donations through our Blockchain paywalls system.
Today, we are working tirelessly going into 2019 with another set of households and getting Government of Ghana and Unicef to study our solution and how it could help fighting extreme poverty in Ghana by reducing cost in sending money either from nonprofit or government poverty alleviation programs to beneficiaries.
It is our hope that by end of our 2019 pilot with the Government and Unicef onboard, government and other nonprofits will find it necessary to implement Blockchain technology it’s their operations to enhance transparency, reduce cost both administrative and in doing government business, eliminate poverty and fight corruption as our platforms ensure 100% transparency, next to zero cost of sending funds across which is a good fit for not only government and nonprofit organizations but for businesses as well.

Cryptocurrency has taken him to places and for the first time in his life he has been able to travel to some parts of the world. He also through cryptocurrency has been able to sit with the vice president of Ghana to hold discussion on both cryptocurrency and poverty alleviation in the Northern Part of Ghana.

It is with no doubt that our #NobleCryptoProfile of the week has been a game changer and seeks to go further to make a change in his community, his country and his continent.

Testimony:

Mr. Abdul Q. Mukhtar has this to say about him:

I called him a stressor, he goes beyond the extra to get the things done. He is a nice person, a friend who is able to share each other in joy and sorrow. He is always there and always ready to champion any good course we trudge on. He is my special brother, my best friend, we fought together for greater success and am always proud to have him. So basically, what am saying here is that my brother is the awesome-iest BEST FRIEND EVER. He is my personal hero.

The least said about him the better we seek to appreciate and project his works and also wish to urge him on. 2019 is a going to be a big year and we pray that all his ideas and works will see the light of day.
